I have a 1967 Farmall 706. I suddenly developed a problem with the tilt on the bucket - the raising and lowering of the bucket is controlled by the outside lever and hoses that connect in front of the floor plate on the right side. The tilt is controlled by the inside lever using two hoses that connect at the rear of the tractor to the pump under the seat.
I connected the hoses that control the tilt to the quick connects on the right side that I normally use for the raising/lowering. The tilt then worked fine. They hydraulic oil level is full and I replaced the pilot valve about 6 months ago. The pump under the seat has been leaking hydraulic fluid slowly for a while.
I would guess the pump under the seat is the culprit. Are there any specific valves or any part of the pump that I could check or should I just replace the entire pump?
Thanks in advance fellas!
