Does 11-24 on a 10" Rim sound right for a 1950 Cub?

It is a bit wider then what came on it. Cub had a 9.5X24 on them or what ever it was marked back with the old size rating

That is a little wider tire than was originally on a cub. The original size was 7x24 or 8x24 as Gene stated, 7x24n was not used long, and both it and the rims it fits are fairly rare. It was replaced by 8x24, which due to the difference in the way tires are measured is now 8.3x24.

Thanks for the insight. engine is free but doesn't run and they can't remember when it did. I figured 200+ to get a rim and have tire swapped threw out $500 to the kids. we'll see what they comeback with. I put a pic and I know it's not the original grill
Thanks again

If the tires are the same size (ideally matching), hold air, and aren't rotten, I wouldn't worry about it too much. They are a bit large, as you can see by the tire almost hitting the mower deck.

That rim looks wider than a stock Cub rim, and in good shape.

It is the same on both sides, however the left rear has a rusted through spot. Might try to fix it
but probably buy a matching rim if we can get together
