i have noticed my 3point has seemed to be weak. it list a bale of hay barely with just my unroller when i was feeding during the winter. the other day i bought a 3pt high lift spear to unload them off my flat bed truck, it will not lift them off the truck at all, lift or tilt. manual says it should have 2300-2400 psi at the test port on the front cover under seat. i have outlets and checked it there and only have 1500psi at around 1600rpm. i think that should be close to same reading as where they say to check it shouldnt it?
i have done put 2 pumps on it over the last 10yrs, first was a used on off my parts tractor and a new cheaper one couple yrs ago that wasnt much better than the used one.
anyone put a front pump on one of these tractors that runs off the crank? im thinking of going that route.
before i do is there anything else i need to check first that might be the problem instead of the pump? going to check the suction filter but dont think thats the problem as i changed it couple years ago and flushed and cleaned the hyd reservoir while it was apart.
