M - looking for kerosene valves

YT sells them right here (Part No: 57699D) Good shopping, the parts are good, and shipping is quick. Jim

I just looked at the parts manual and the numbers you list are shown for Kerosene like you said. I would think this site would be as good as any place to buy them as any.

Call YT and ask! Get solid dimensions to the ,0005 level for stem diameter, and length to retainer from head. Find a valve that works. They should not be radical sodium cooled, or exotic metal, so the head of a larger valve could be ground to size. Jim

(quoted from post at 23:26:15 06/06/19) Anyone have a set even incomplete of useable kerosene valves? 48958D/48959DA ? Or if anyone still makes them?

I did a google search for the parts numbers that you listed and found a few places that listed them for sale: Bates, Tractors parts Asap, agkits, etc.

Call Rice Equipment. They should have them or know how they differ -- may be gas valves at a different angle.

I got kerosene valves for my Farmall H through Rice Equipment. I believe the valve stem is longer than for a petrol / gasoline cylinder head. Never measured the difference, because pretty much every Farmall A, H and M in Australia was set up for kerosene.

Think I have some. But since he didn't pay for a part I sent him in the past they won't be offered.
