International Cub Lo boy can I put a zenith carburetor on it? It has a IH carburetor on it right now. I have
read where the zenith carburetor gives it more power? Thank you

I am not familiar with what model of zenith you are talking about, but 40 years of very often having to improvise,I have taken many carbs and used them for different aplications, the key with any of them was to get the air fuel ratio close to original carb, to lean most engines will overheat or not want to idle,to rich and they will bog or stall out from to much fuel. I had a beater Areo star that gave me fuel problems continually, I made an adapter and bolted on a carter 2 barrel from a dodge 318 v8, trial and error, got it running like it should and ran it for years before trans crapped out.

From my personal experience I will agree with BarnyardEngineering. If there is nothing wrong with your IH carb a Zenith will give you very little power improvement if any. Depending on circumstances a tuneup will probably help as much. A Zenith does offer a couple of advantages, in that it is sturdier and does not warp as easily, and the fuel line attaches via a brass fitting on the side rather than screwing into a pot metal body so it does not strip the threads as easily. If you have a metal fuel line it will have to be replaced due to the different location of the fuel inlet. I have also found that the Zenith carbs do not start quite as easily requiring the tractor to turn over a couple more times to start.
