Hard to steer after buying 2 new tires

I just bought 2 3-ribbed new tires for my wide front end M. Now, the tractor is really hard to steer. Any idea what's going on?

Check your tow in. Your old tires wore so that they didn't bind as you drove , but the new treads are getting traction and making the steering difficult. This is a front end adjustment problem.

make sure that the steering gear box is properly lubed

I would take the cover off the top of bolster and check if bearings are good and check lubrication. Have assistant turn while you watch to see if anything is binding. Lift weight off tires and grease everything on wf so grease gets to points when it had weight on it. Grease and oil everything on steering system you can find including u-joints
