1942 Farmall H Memorial Project Update

Hello all! Well, yesterday I was able to make some progress on the 1942 Farmall H Memorial restoration project. For those who don't know, there is a
fundraiser (GoFundMe) account set up to donate to the project, all proceeds will go towards the restoration in hopes to raise awareness for mental health and
suicide. All leftovers will be donated to the non-profit organization called SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education).

Anyhow, here are some progress photos and a video of the engine teardown. At first glance, it looks as if the motor was pretty well taken care of. The
crankshaft is nice and shiny, still have lots of bearing left in the mains and connecting rods, and it has aluminum pistons in it. Unfortunately, the sleeves
have a pretty good ridge in them, and the top grooves on the pistons are pretty well worn. It will need pistons, rings, and sleeves. I do have a sleeve
puller but do not have a puck to fit the sleeves on the H (if anyone has one they would be willing to borrow it would be a huge help). I also received a
replacement distillate cylinder head that has been freshly machined with only about 2-3 hours of run time as a donation. Titan Tires is excited about the
project, and will be donating tires for the restoration. These two items save a HUGE amount of money that can be put forth towards donation to the non-
profit. Once finished the tractor will travel to shows, parades, and plow days with a large plaque that will list all contributors, and various methods of
outreach for victims and their families. I am also chronicling the entire process on my YouTube channel to not only help raise awareness, but to attract
younger people (and/or those with less mechanical abilities) to the hobby.

I know that we will be needing a good fuel tank for the tractor as the one that was on it has a huge amount of goober solder on the top front corner. We also
will need a driveshaft, and the steering will need to be completely rebuilt. All of the components are severely worn.

Anyhow, here are some photos of the progress and a video. If you would like me to post a link to the GoFundMe I can do so below. Anything is a huge help as
far as support goes!

1942 Farmall H Engine Teardown

I don't either. I laid out down for the photo so you could better see the layout of parts. I stand them on end to prevent bending or warping.
