While I am not 100% sure about it I do think it is since it has an engine very much like the A Super A and the B and there all wet sleeve so it should be also.

(quoted from post at 18:13:02 05/23/19) is this a wet sleeve engine?? got a super C with a pan full of water and the head looks ok - Roy

Read through several posts on other sites and several people said it was and have discussed rebuilding their super c which had wet sleeves. But I do not own one and have never worked on one. Wish I did own one though.

Yes they are wet, When I redid mine, the front sleeve was full of casting sand. I had not planned on a pound of sand falling on the main bearings and crankshaft.

Here's what I did on my Super C..I was also getting coolant in the oil pan. I pulled the head and the oil pan and then I filled the block with coolant flush to the top of the deck. Looking from the bottom you will be able to tell if it is leaking around the sleeves. Mine wasn't...so I knew it had to be the head or head gasket. The old head gasket looked good so I sent my head to a machine shop and they found the head to be warped .0085" I reassembled with a new IH gasket and all is good! Make sure you get the IH gasket...it has compression washers around the coolant passages.. Also,,Torque the head nuts to 80 Ft. Lbs. NOT 65 Ft.Lbs. like the manual says.
