Going up to look at a 240U with a loader owner sez needs Battery. Is this 6 volt or 12 volt?

Factory 6, but by now most have been changed to 12

I've run many 6 volt tractor on a 12 volt battery. It will not a thing unless you plan to run it for hour

Yea didn?t know when they change over to 12 volt so since it originally came with six volt I can crank it over with 12 volt positive ground

Yes and run it for 30 or so minutes with out hurting any thing
