The original subject was "Re: TISCO bevelled piston rings".
Hey, I have a question, my tractor is a farmal super av and I bought new piston rings. I'm not home right now to look and see the name brand of the rings, but I always put rings with dot or letter pointing up on auto's, there are three rings for these piston's, and the package is marked ( this end in ), I guess meaning down for all. The top ring has the dot up which I know is right, but the second ring is the problem! There is a bevel on the inside which I know going down as the package shows, BUT there is a dot on it too on the same side as the bevel which should be down. So if I put dot up, then is it wrong?
