Timing gears on cub lo boy

I can"t find the mark on the idler gear for the governor distributor. I see the double mark on it for the drive gear and the mark on the governor gear. If I knew how many teeth to count back I could do it
that way. any help would be appreciated.

With a distributor, timing the governor is immaterial. (Vs if it had a magneto.)

Time the distributor to the engine using the procedure on Pages 19 and 11 of the manual at the link below.

You will have to copy the link and paste kit into your browser, as it won't post here as a direct link.

(quoted from post at 07:44:54 05/19/19) Bob The link you gave me won't let me in !

Just tried it and it works fine from here, both in Chrome and Firefox.

Could your computer be blocking it, for some reason?
