Farmall A lift

Hello! Not long after I bought my AI I found a gentleman selling cultivator. He had a pile which he said contained two sets of cultivator and other parts. The cultivator that I wanted is a hand lift. One lever adjusts the left side and the other lifts everything front and back. I also got most of a liftall system. Once I am sure that I have picked out all the parts for the cultivator I want to keep, I will sell the other. I will post in classifieds. My question should I keep the liftall stuff for my tractor? I don't know that I would use it. Just thinking down the road it might make the tractor more desirable. The rear lift is heavier duty than what I put on the tractor. I do like that. Bruce If all the parts are there and in working order install it use it. Is it a pneumatic type. If so open the cylinder soak the leather ring in light oil for several days and re assemble. this will soften and re set the leathers causing them to perform better.

by most of a lift all system, do you mean you have the part that goes on the exhaust pipe, the valve for raising and lowering the lift and the cylinder. if you have the part that goes on the exhaust pipe by all means keep it, the other parts you can still find, aka gene bender. every time I pull the lever to raise the plow on my b i'm still amazed at the engineering that went into that setup
