Oil Cup - 2

That new cup looks to be the wrong size; slightly too big. At a guess, I would say there are two Donaldson filter assemblies, which are close to each other in size. I don't know if there was a change from Farmall A to later models, such as your 100

Only thing I think is at least on my H, there's an UP side to the clamp and a DOWN side. The clamp will only work in one position, not both. I had to figure out which way was UP side. The ring is not ?.. what's the word?? ?. interchangeable up side vs. down side.

Looking at the parts list there was a Donaldson with a replacement cup and (several?) from U tied Specialties. It appears they only sold the whole assembly to get the cup.

There was a size change but being that tractor has been around for some time you never will know just what has been changed. Its not hard to get a new one just need to know the dimensions

Did you call JP back and tell them that it doesn't fit? They're real nice folks and can help you out.

It should be a slip fit, not loose at all. They sent you an air cleaner cup off of an H by mistake.

There's nothing odd at all about your air cleaner that you should not be able to find a dozen replacement cups easily.

I sent JP the video and John called me. Said that breather unit is not for a 100, but some other model. He's shipping me the correct one. Being this tractor was an Industrial owned by the state to cut grass, I was told it may have rolled over in a ditch at some point. I know the hood is not original, nor the exhaust stack; so it's logical that the air breather was also replaced.
