International harvester model m grain drill

I am curious if any one knows where I can find replacement seed tubes for the large box on my Model M grain drill?

If you're talking about ribbon tubes, I haven't seen anyone reproducing those yet. There was a rubber tube update for the ribbon tubes back when those drills were popular, but so far have not to been able to procure those either. I have been using 5100 rubber tubes. The bell end is a little smaller than the original, and its a real wrestling match to get it stretched over the seed cup, but it will go. On the bottom, you will need a clip of some sort to hold the spigot of the tube into the opener boot. The originals were a ring that sat in the last two pleats of the tube and clipped to the opening of the boot. You could probably do it with tie wire; I don't know for sure because I collect stuff like that, and I have all the original clips.

Good luck - like hens teeth. I needed one tube for my M drill,
and it appears that they have been a hot item ever since
cover-cropping has been in vouge.

If you just need the spiral ribbon, and you have the part that
clips to the seed cup - you can use the newer plastic tubes.

If you are missing the whole thing, you may need to get
creative.
