7 point plug on 766

I'm hooking up a 7 way plug on a 766 IH to
power hazard and taillights for a kinze
planter. I've got the green, yellow, and
brown wires hooked up to a hot wire on the
headlight switch and got the ground (white
wire) grounded. The issue is the hazard
lights dont flash, they are solid and the
taillights stay on with them. Any ideas or
input would be appreciated. Thanks

In the Class 8 (semi) truck world, Brown is the main tail lights and Black is the clearance lights. Green and Yellow are turn signals, and Red is the brake lights. White is ground.

You need to hook up the lights you want to flash to a flasher. If you just hook them up to power like you have them now, they will stay on solid. Also if you just bug all the wires together like you have now, they will all come on and off together.

The flasher is mounted at the base of one of the fenders, as I recall.

I posted on his other post , what he is tryen to do will plum cook and I H light switch and eat more fuses then he can carry in the tool box. the light switches are maxed out just with stock lighting . Back when they were built we did not have all this fancy stuff to add in . what i had to do whe we went to the big forage boxes for running the roads at night while we were choppen corn to keep the light going was close to a total rewire with the extra lighting between tail lights and flashers on the wagons . I had to add in C V relays and circuit breakers electronic flashers and seven way pugs on all the tractors heavier wiring higher capacity alt. heavier main off the alt to the starter post .
