was looking at one at auction....serial no,was 30005 AR......tractor data does not go that high...what does the AR mean......it had an aux...fuel tank....also TA....but the pto looked like a H.......can you put a live pto in the tractor by just bolting on or do you have to change things internally..............thanks dewy

A A is Distailate, R is for TA,with transmission driven pto.I doubt it's going to have the pressure plate with splines, and the shaft coming back,to the PTO clutches,if looks like a H, then it doesnt have the PTO clutch

thanks just found A&R in manual.........you are correct...S is what i was thinking it would need to put live pto on it.................dewy

30503 was the last Farmall. Center housing would need removed and several parts changed from pressure plate to pto for IPTO. Not that hard to do other than labor if the parts were handy.
