What is the dia. of the steering shaft on an H Farmall? Thanks, Ellis

With out walking out to one of the $ Hs I have I cannot say for sure other then it is that big. LOL. I could take my calipers out and measure if you want me to

I want to say 3/4".

Had the hood off my super H yesterday and didn't measure the shaft but I think it was 3/4 "

I discovered quite by accident that the upper steering shaft for the H will interchange with an M.

Don't see how it could, my M has a 7/8 steering shaft. Ellis

H and M shafts are the same diameter for most of the shafts. Where the steering wheel slips on rear shaft it's 3/4. Where the worm shaft goes through the bolster bushing it steps up bigger.
