First and foremost I have to apologise for my incompetence. This was my grandfather's tractor. There issue is the ram that controls the fast hitch will only go up when someone helps it. It will go down. As for the touch controls it will tilt forward and backward but not really side to side. My father and I have replaced the pump and also all of the gaskets and o rings inside the hydraulic block I guess you would call it. But still the same problem. My dad thinks that we overheated the system last summer while using the sickle mower. We found out the temperature gauge wasn't working and thought maybe she overheated. We replaced the temp gauge just so you know. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The Pressure Regulator Valve could be stuck allowing substantial pressure loss, and those symptoms. Parts in the lower left of the illustration. I have not seen one overheat ever. Jim

I really thing the hydraulic temp gauge is only to make Super C owners buy over priced gauges. I agree it is just by passing psi.

You didn't mention the screen [#1] in Jim's diagram.
If you haven't checked it yet, pull it & see if it
might be collapsed or plugged.
This would limit oil flow to the pump.

Thanks guys. The screen looked good when we replaced the gaskets and o rings. We cleaned it before putting it all back together. Also at that time we had the pressure regulator out to replace those o rings and it was moving freely so we figured it was working correctly.

Referring to the diagram. What is the difference between 22 & 52? They are both described as PISTON Pressure Regulator Valve. But 52 also says w/ retainer, rod, and spring.
52 is available for purchase but 22 it says it is a discontinued part that they no longer make and to contact a dealer to see if there's any new old stock leftover.

We finally got the dang thing working come to find out it was that plastic regulator Valve or check valve. Whichever ones plastic. It had a nice crack in it that we overlooked during the first tare down. Thanks fur all your help
