Farmall M clutch

Before I pull my pressure plate and clutch back off to inspect does everything look okay with the height of the pressure plate fingers? I heard that they were suppose to be parallel to the pressure plate on a thread I posted a couple days ago regarding my clutch being grabby and jerking instead of smooth

I went ahead and pulled everything to look y?all tell me yalls thoughts I can?t seem to figure out why there are three spots on the pressure plate that look like that?s where the pressure is going first to the clutch

Looks like you fingers were not quite setting even. On looked like it had more pressure than the other. The other one looked like it was not quite touching the throw out bearing. Could also be a less than true flywheel, pressure plat or disc. Can you lay the disc on the plate and see if a feeler gage will slip in. That would tell if something is not setting right on the pressure plate. If you have a short level or a file long enough to reach across the surface, again try a feeler gage or if you can see light under your straight edge. You will know if things are not flat. You could also check the flywheel with a dial indicator set on the side with the flywheel turned will move if not flat. Could also do that with the other pieces too.
