farmall 200 fast hitch rear aux.valve seal

does anyone have cross over number for seal...the seal i was using is a timken 253747 but must not be the same as dealer cause they are ripping the rubber in seal cause the shaft is going up and down...most seals just ride a shaft...its happening on more then one tractor...you can see the seal turning inside out or rollin...when i seen it rollin i put two seals in and its holding ....................an they are really small and only 5 dollars ,compared to 23$ and shipping for dealers...are there seals made for shaft to go in an out verses just riding on shaft...........thanks as always.....dewy
 
i talked to some hydraulic guru today an he said it had to be a wiper seal made for that..........how come no one chimed in....did i ask a dumb question..............sorry...............dewy
 
I don?t think your question was dumb, however it was a bit confusing so I assume that is why you did not get a reply. Your title says...fast hitch rear aux. valve seal... when by your description you are asking about the ...the seal for the fast hitch hydraulic cylinder.. I am not familiar with a Super C but I would think it is quite similar to those on other models. A replacement seal can be found by ID and OD, but that does not always mean that it can meet the original application specifications. So as the ...hydraulic guru... told you the seal needed to be a ...wiper type... Unfortunately sometimes you just have to suck it up and pay the bucks to CaseIH...Fiat... or whoever it is to get a part with the ability to last as required to have a quality repair.
 
Oops, sorry I called the tractor in question a Super C, when it is a 200. I was thinking about the post I read prior to this one. Luckily they are basically the same tractor. After thinking about this some more I wonder if the fast hitch is equipped with a Touch Control set up and maybe in fact a valve is actuated by sliding in and out some distance like a spool valve. Not familiar with those setups either.
