Super C pto oil seal and bearing replacement

Hi,
I could use some direction in removing the pto oil seal and replacing the bearings on the pto shaft in a Super C. I'm not sure how to
remove the housing around the shaft - is it just the bearing holding it in place?
Here is a picture - I removed the lower bolts after the picture was taken.
Thanks,
Mike

I'm having trouble removing that casting. Does the upper gear and the bolts surrounding it need to come off?
I've been able to create a small gap between the back of the casting and the tractor body but that's about it. Could the outer bearing be holding it in place - how do I remove that outer bearing?
Thanks

The entire PTO and belt pulley unit will come off the back of the Farmall C series tractor as a unit. It's just held on with some bolts and a couple dowel pins.

Thanks for the photo.
Did you use some kind of puller to remove it? I was thinking of wooden wedges around the outside
of the housing.
I have a gap of about 1/8" now but didn't want to force anything until I knew how it came off.

Pull it straight out. Careful it's heavy. Do make sure the poppet don't pop out. Mine did and had to make a new one.
