Lost spark on Farmall C

I found a lot of water under the cap that is over the coil on the mag. I dried cap and spark return.

I've never had a problem with mag. Is this common?

Every 2 years in February I've replaced distributor cap on my old 1995 and 2007 GMC truck. Condensation

Is the moisture caused by Indiana condensation?

What is the official name for the cap?

The best one can do is to use a thin application of blue RTV on the cap. A heat lamp shining on the Mag for an hour will evaporate the moisture as well. Live in the Mohave would be a third choice. Jim
