450 rocker assembly what is missing pics???

front of head has tube tapped in head, rear of head is tapped (threaded) for i am not sure what. I
removed head for crack repair and don't recall what I may be missing. Thanks for your input.

Original 450 heads didn't have the hole at rear of head. You have a later replacement head or a head from another model. If the valve cover has a opening connected to air intake pipe plug hole in rear of head. 1/4 pipe plug.

Sure enough valve cover has hose to air cleaner housing. I'll plug rear hole and get this 450 High Clearance back on the road. (head cast 5/55 casting# 362920 r1, tractor built 11/56) thanks for the help!

Does the tractor happen to have a A or a B in the suffix after the serial number?

Nope no suffix after serial #.....archives list it as "kerosene" fuel burner. Also pto delete, tach delete and only single handle hydraulic lever. Does have cigar lighter though.

I have a 1958 and it has the hose from valve cover to air cleaner. It is part of crankcase venting system.
