Bought a F 20 yesterday I know the manifold has been changed to a gas . Did any of the early F20's come with the same carb the Regular had ? That is what is on this one .

Not that I know of but it may run a little cheaper that way. My dad switched one over like yours once for that reason. If you want to change back you need to change air cleaner also.

F-20's had a different manifold and carb. But both of those parts together are interchangeable with the regular. Sounds like you got regular parts that were put on the f-20. If you have original manifold and carb for a regular,they probly worth more money. You could probly make money buy converting back to all original F-20 parts. Original manifold and carbs getting hard to find for the regulars. A dime a dozen for the F-20's.

Thanks guys that is what I was thinking . Guess I'll have to dig through my parts piles , I'm sure I've got the correct manifold and carb here .
