So a local auction has what is advertised as a Farmall super A-I tractor .... After going to look at it everything seems to match up except for the serial plate and the front axel. The research I found it's a 1952 has the brace to bell housing has the foot throttle yellow paint is original . The plate reads FAA-I ... To the best of my knowledge it should read IAA . If anyone can confirm this is a true AI that would be a big help

If you are looking for a SA -1, not I, then the serial number must be 356001 or later. It must have the 123 cubic engine with a water pump and tall
radiator. They were made in later 1954 with Z cast codes. Not many were made. These tractors would not have the diamond heavy front ends, just the
round tube type bolster. You are correct with the serial number. It should be FAA. , not IAA.. The FAA tractors motor serial number would be FCM, not
FAAM.
What you are looking at is a Farmall Super A Indestrial tractor made in 1952.
