Hello,
so my IH300 (with TA) PTO is not rotating, tried adjusting, no change, thought it was the seasonal disconnect since the small selector shaft was broken, but realized the PTO shaft in front of the seasonal disconnect coupling was not rotating when tractor was running (trans in neutral).
I pulled lower cover off under the PTO Driven gear and that gear is not rotating.
I pulled the next cover off in front of that (dry area) and could not see anything turning.
BTW, the T/A or PTO has never worked since I purchased it a few years ago. Just getting around to looking into it.
I am not sure how this PTO is driven, so looking for some advice on how the PTO works from the back output shaft (clutch) of the tractor on back.
