I have an after market power steering on my M and its sloppy at the power steering, , is there a way to tighten it up? Thanks for any help,

It could be from several places. The only kind I have experience with is Char Lyn. My torque generator came loose fromhe mounting plate(guage holder) one time and made it loose, bolts just needed to be tightened. It could also be where unit hooks to front part of steeering shaft. Mine has a flex drive joint there and it is supposed to be lubed, it could be worn out. Remove hood and see what is happening when you turn the wheel and go from there

I have the hood off and seen where the steering shaft going into the power steering turns but the shaft coming out has slop, I am sure it is a Char lynn pump. Driving down the road I have to constantly turn the steering wheel.

where the shaft from the torque generator hooks to the steering shaft to front of tractor there is a coupler, it is probably not a solid coupler like on the other side but one that allows some flex so the shafts line up. Kind of like a universal joint but different in design. If that coupler is worn out it could allow slop there.
