I am looking at a 1951 I-4 with loader frame attached. The engine is stuck and it is missing a rear
tire rim and hub. the rim is the kind that uses a ring to mount tire. also gone is axle and bearing
and casting that mounts axle and bearing. How hard would these part be to find and how much
would they cost (ball park figure) what is a decent price to pay for tractor ? thank you for your
help.

The parts shouldn?t be too hard to find if they?re interchangeable with the W-4. That said it sounds like they should pay you to take the tractor. Best of luck.

W4 parts are not actually the same, All transmission gears, platform and fenders are different as well as the rear hubs and axle trumpet housings. The trumpet housing for a W4 can be machined to make an I4 one but the hub is not the same
I can sell you the axle, trumpet housing (for a w4 ) possibly i4 parts but shipping would be huge due to the weight

i4 hubs are 312# and w4 hubs are 170#

above is a pic of each trumpet housing- note the machined ring around the bare cast i4 housing

By the time you buy all the parts you will need to put that axle and wheel assembly back together you will have spent more for parts than the tractor is worth. Better to pass on that tractor and look for something else.

I am parting out an i4 currently if you need any parts
