Thanks for all of the advice on the tranny oil. It worked very well, clumps of junk came out when I opened the plug. I guess I put more kerosene in than I should have. About the last half mile of my ride (3.5 miles) some oil began to run out of the base of the gear shift stick (about half a cup). Do you think that I damaged a seal or anything? I really appreciate all of y'all's help.

I suppose if you hit some rough spots, the thin kerosine could slosh and come out around the gear shift. Nothing there to stop it from coming out except gravity.

I doubt you hurt anything. Did you use the kero flush more than one time? As long as you have the proper amount of Hy-Tran in there now, I wouldn't worry about the little bit you had coming out the shifer if you had it over-filled. I must say, I have never heard of it coming out of there before.
