Farmall Super A Hydraulics won't prime

Just put a clutch in the '48 Super AV, and I cannot get hydraulics to begin function. I had to break the hydraulic lines of course, and lots of fluid drained.

Filled to the top of the reservoir plug, idled and throttled up, nothing budges or makes noise.

Any guidance here?

perhaps drive tractor to a down hill grade, so nose is down hill and pull levers all way forward and wait, and then back , all the way and wait. do this a few times. fingers crossed

Oh, never mind.

I took a break, went back out and fired it up. The hydraulics activated, and all is well.
