International 300 manifold

I have a tractor/forklift based on an International 300 utility tractor - the exhaust manifold has holes in it and should be replaced, but it appears that the utility manifold is different than the row crop and apparently is not available aftermarket

my question is about the differences between the models - looking at the 300 manifold sold at this site, it appears that the carburetor flange is at right angles to what I have now - are there more issues?

any help/discussion is appreciated -

David

The pictures you posted are not from a 300 Totally different engine and governor carb setup. I'm guessing you have a 330 tractor.

Thanks, I'll check further -

as I examine the existing manifold thru the exhaust, there are small holes that actually look drilled at the bottom of #2 and #3 exhaust ports - would the factory do this to keep water from getting into the engine?

Yes.

There are holes in the exhaust manifold fr that reason. If they get too big, or if the engine is never out in the weather, they can be drilled and tapped for
pipe plugs and closed. They are usually about 3/16 or so. Jim

well - that makes life simpler and cheaper for a change...a small victory I guess -

I noticed black on the block and when I held my hand in the area could feel the exhaust puffing and assumed the worst -

are there numbers stamped somewhere on this machine? there's a riveted plate, but the only thing left on it are the stamped numbers '3488' and I'm guessing it has something to do with the modification of the machine into the fork lift -
