1066 lift arm

We have a IH 1066. The bushing on the one of the lift arms where it connects to the tractor (not the implement) is bad. We are having trouble removing the arm to get at the bushing.
We have heated it up but can not get it to move. Is this a common problem or are we doing something wrong. Ihope I have made myself clear on what is wrong.
Thanks

If you are meaning at the bottom of the rearend case? The one side will come off with relative ease as it comes off the shaft all from the outside. The other side has to have the shaft come out from the inside or something like that. you also have to unbolt the bracket on the sides at the bottom also. If we are taling about the top arm on the lifting shaft under the seat they may or may not come off relatively easy.

Thank you I'm talking about the lower one we are trying to get the one on the left side as your facing the rear of the tractor.

That should come off the tractor without having to get inside if I remember correctly. You do have to take a few bolts out first there. Then the hook deal holding the arm on should come off.

Same problem here. The pin on the right side slides right out. Can't budge the left side. Stated above it may be held from the inside??.....sheesh.

I don't know why it won't come out But I Am not going inside the rearend to find out just to change a bushing. I thought maybe others who have had the same problem would have chimed in.
