difficulty re starting after stalling

I'll do my best to lay out the situation. IHC BN 123 engine, 12 volt system, 6 month old no exteral resister coil, carb jet set at approximately 1 turn out.
( side note, I live near london Ontario so most starting times, temperatures below freezing) the first starting; pull choke, 1/4 throttle, 2 to 3 turns of starter, fires right up. After running for 15 minutes or so, pulling my tailor; with snow blower on baoard to clean out several neighbours lanes in park; ***** NOW COMES THE DIFFICULTY ^^^^^ IF the engines stalls THEN need to leave it sit for up to 2 hours before I can restart it. It doesn't matter whether I atemp to use the starter or the crank, still forced to the same time line. Once this aproximate time is reached, again 1/4 throttle, full choke, 2 to 3 turns of either starter or crank, fires right up.
NOW ???? what am I missing? Where to figuer out the difficulty?
Thank you for all your ideas to investigate.

Next time it stalls, try to touch the coil. I suspect you will not be able to leave your finger on it without being burned.

I suspect what you think is a "no external resistor" coil is actually just a "12V" coil, which requires an external resistor. It is overheating and breaking down. If you check for spark after the tractor stalls, it is very likely that the spark will be weak or nonexistent.

I had exactly that same problem with my BN I use with a woods mower. If it shut if off for a lunch break, neighbor visit etc it would not restart for 1 hour or more. I finally changed the condenser and that fixed it. Note: I did have spark when it wouldn't start.

Further comment on coil the writing on it states that no external
resistor in needed. I was wondering about coil also.

Ok, hopefully I can follow the testing of the coil, since I will need to open up the heat houser on the coil side and reach in and turn the starter key in the "cab" section at he same time. Thank you for you help. Will try to up date all later.
Thank you again.
