4-Her looking for a combine to restore!!!

Would anyone now were there would be any old combine a 4-Her like me could restore as a project!? I am interested in anything but not John Deere! Please show some pictures!
 

Restoring a combine is a rather ambitious project---if you can even find one. Most of them get cut up for scrap when worn out.
 
I restored an engine driven JD 12A when I was in 4H. And it
was a non shedded rusty special too. Restoring a combine is
not impossible if you pick a common model.
 
You should at least tell us what state you are in. It costs a lot to ship a combine. Best of luck to
you, any reason to choose a combine over a tractor? I realize quite often the materials for such a
project are often donated, but you are talking about 3-4 times the paint for a combine.
 
I got a friend,who has collected 11 old combines, all brands pretty much,even had some good ones given to him, He's even got a 420 Versatile, he found a straight head, and threshed wheat with in 2017, he had 10 of them going that one day, he ran out of driver's, they were all well cared for, and inside all their life, except one, so don't give up, if that's what u want.
 
I have two for you. Unfortunatly one is JohnDeere. A 1946/7 model 55(first year production).And a 1956 Case 150 that is a deseased neihbors. Other bad thing is I'm in western Colorado.
