Farmall C ? About down pressure

The lift rod from the hydraulic box to the implement probably has a slip collar that would allow lift but float down. If a mid mounted implement, chain can be used to lift with no down pressure. Jim

How about a hint? Down pressure on what? Only thing I can think of is a fasthitch, but they only came on Super Cs. If you were talking about a Super C the top collar on the shaft to the right of the cylinder has a about a 1/4 inch hole through it. Pull the pin and no more down pressure.

Sorry to get off the topic,,But can you tell me more about that backblade? I have one just like it but it changed to a 3 point hitch at one time.

These blades came in small point, large point or three point configurations with 24 tilting and angling adjustments and five tilting adjustments. Out side of a few YT photos I've only seen one other like it.
