IH 251 corn planter parts

My planter is equipped with disk seed openers. Some of the castings that hold the disks are broken on one side. I'm wondering if there is a 4 row planter that used the same openers that might be easier to find?

You might try Fry's Machinery in Pennsdale, Pennsylvania at (570) 546-3968 which is an almost exclusive implement salvage yard and vintage IHC implements are very common in that area of the country. If your broken casting has a casting no. on the part that would be most helpful to them along with a description of where it is located on the implement. In looking at a Planter Parts Catalog I see the disc openers were an option on the 251 planter, Hal.
