1466 speed trans. Question

I just installed a new t/a and finished assembling the speed trans. Question is, on the lower counter shaft, I have the nut snugged up and the shaft will slid back and forth a little bit. It looks like most of the movement is coming from the rear bearing between the race and rollers which I replaced. I looked on the parts website and there are no shims available for the 4 bolt retainer. Question is the movement normal? All the gears/ spacers are tight. Thank you in advance.

It has been a few years since I went through our 1466 transmission and rearend.
You say the shaft moves endways a little bit. Are you talking about the stack of gears on the tube going over the PTO drive shaft or the PTO drive shaft moves endways? Makes a difference since the Gears should not move only to barely wiggle since the snap rings hold them together. The PTO shaft should slide in the gear stack. There is the bearing retainer on the front of it with shims to hold and adjust the bearing preload on that shaft.
