560 Seat Bracket

My BIL has a late model 560 with a "Deluxe Vertical Acting Seat." There is a cast aluminum arm on each side and both are broke allowing the seat to excessively move around. They are the same piece on each side. The parts book shows it to be a Case IH part number 372744R91 arm with pins, but the local dealer shows it to not be available. Where else would this be available? TIA

Another guy was asking a couple of weeks ago, Bates corp. IH tractor parts. P/N 372744R91 and they are made out of steel. I ordered a pair a couple of years ago and worked find. john

About a year ago I overhauled the seat on my 560. Mine also had the aluminum bars and they were broken. I had a parts tractor but in trying to get the pins out I ended up breakingsome of those. My IH dealer said there were 2 available somewhere at that time. I did get the seat back together but one of the arms has a broken end, it doesn't seem to affect operation. On my seat I ordered a bushing kit for seat, I think from Steiner tractor that really helped tighten it up. The pins they use to hold it together are a real bear to get out so I used roll pins going back together.

seat parts are held together by groove pins and very hard to get oput, especially without breaking aluminum arms. If you are going to the trouble to change the arms you may want to consider getting the seat bushing kit, especially if seat is moving all over. I just ordered some of the arms from Bates. I ordered them from ebay as shipping was less, still come from Bates
