Hello
My 185 has developed a new issue this year after using it for snow removal. I began to see hydraulic fluid on the snow, and immediately took it into the shop and looked it over. The entire top of the transmission was covered in fluid. I cleaned it up with brake kleen, checked the return hose clamp was tight, and went back to work keeping an eye on things through the window in the sheet metal where the shift level come up. I noticed that while running at full throttle while operating the 3pt, the fluid is coming out around the shift boot.At low to mid throttle this does not happen. The boot is hardened from age, but i'm wondering if something else is causing the fluid to push up past it, or if i simply need a new boot. I want to check the transmission vent, but was not able to find it yet, and make sure its not clogged. Any pointers on other things to check, and the location of the vent would be much appreciated.
Thank you all in advance.
