lost rear hydraulics used last weekend. when I used it then worked good went to use Saturday would not pick up harrow checked fluid it over the full. Got power steering, brakes and moves where do I look next. Thanks Perry

put it 5 galons over full. A pipe , or Oring ( internal) can fail sucking air and letting the pump/s loose prime. It is a cheap fix if it works, and hurts nothing. Jim

If steering ,PTO, brakes all work then you have problems with oil. Meaning it is low, plugged filter,o-ring sucking air or the lot. If no to the beginning then look up in the narrow plate under clutch see if the shaft is turning. If not then split time as the spline or hub on pressure plate has went south.

Just had a customer that used his 806 to feed the cows one day and the next day the loader would not work, but the hitch would go up and down until he stood on the hitch. It would not lift him. I sold him a new pressure relief valve and tractor worked fine. The valve is located in the right hand seat support and takes 1 1/8 socket to remove. It's the plug that has numbers stamped on the end, usually the pressure rating.

as mentioned, swapping the pilot relief valve for a known good one is quick and easy. if that doesn't do it, remove the top link cover, start engine at low idle, there should be oil running down from the right rear corner of the rear frame cover (under the seat). pull back one of the remote hydraulic levers, if there is oil spraying down under pressure, it could be a blown o ring or seal under the rear cover.

I have the 3 pt hitch. I did not try to stand on it. it is about 1 inch over the full mark on the stick. I have p s brakes and it moves. the rear remote nothing.

Pull your filter and see if it is clogged with ice cristels . Make sue your not ins the Slow possession on the three point controls . Next run a pressure test . You may have a stuck unloading valve . . Not there to do the checking myself. And if you are and inch over full you maybe tghree gallon over full and this is NOT your problem Also drop the inspection cover under the clutch and see if you have any SPARLIES that are new layen in there .
Put a load on the three point/ fast hitch and see if it will lift. next placce a load on te PTO and see if it will do work. You have three Hyd pumps in that tractor , one is for your steering brakes and lube and T/A the next one is for your hyd functions then the third is in the PTO and is ONLY PTO .Dose you T/A dump valve tel tale light work in the right gauge cluster?? if not fix it . If it is on then you have NO pressure At the MCV . If the T/A is goo and you have no pressure on the MCV the tractor will still drive on the low side . If the sump check plug seals good then you will still have manual steering and brakes . If the center of the pressure plate is stripped out and the IDPTO shaft is stripped but still holding some what you could still have some functions but not under load . Like i said i am not there to see for myself .
