IH 1 point Equipment

I would like to know on 1 point IH equipment is the point size the same on 140 and a Farmall Cub?
If so does all equipment from a cub fit on a 140? Thanks

I think the Cub (and all single point) Fast hitch has the larger point size of a 300 on up. Though only one of them Duh. But that would prevent them from use in a Super C or other small point two point hitch, unless the point was reduced in height by one half inch which would probably weaken it. A 2 point hitch of any tractor will pull crooked using one prong. Worn out Point locks (I know this) will bend the prongs if one point pulls out when tilling. The sway brace sustem is really not designed to be used when doing tillage, but might reduce crooked pull. Nah don't do it. Jim

I thought the cub used the small point and the 100 etc used the large point which would mean you could use cub equip on a larger tractor with a spacer but not the other way around. Sam

jim, you are correct. the Cub/100/140 each have one large prong.
