International 664 pto seal leak

I've got an IH 664 that is leaking around the pto seal. I have replaced this seal twice because I thought it might not have been put in flush. It continues to leak around the outside of the seal (the metal to metal contact). I was wondering if there is some sort of internal seal that should be replaced as well. I think I'm going to be tearing into the pto to replace the clutch discs and was wondering if once I'm in there, is there another seal or something that should be replaced that will prevent it from leaking?

Put a little permatex gasket sealer on the outside of the seal when you put it in. Should fix it.
