c, super c, 200, 230

Engine stamp with the motor. A general is the hydraulic lift in the
middle or not. Early models had that others will chime in on the
others as I only was around a 230 and 240.

Super C has curved clutch and brake pedals. Straight C has straight pedals.
Super C, 200 and 230 CAN have Fast Hitch.(an option)
230 has white grill and hood inserts are white.

C and Super C- hood and grille have horizontal crease, with model decal in the notch
200/230 have flat side hood with chrome model number.
C has straight clutch and brake pedals, rest have a bend in pedal arm.
C has gas tank sitting right on touch control assembly, SC has an inch or so gap between gas tank and TC assy (due to taller radiator and grille).
C has band brakes, rest have disc brakes.
230 didn't have touch control, the rest did.
my white C; the decal would go over the front J hook

Do not rely on grill and/or hood paint color to distinguish between a 200 and a 230. I had a 200 with the grill painted white. Someone had tried to transform it into a 230 but it did not happen. The difference in the hydraulic system under the gas tank is a dead giveaway. The C, Super C, and 200 will have rock shaft arms in the fuel tank area while the 230 relies on a hydraulic cylinder for the same function.

C didnt have a water pump or fast hitch superC has a water pump and could have a fast hitch. the grill pattern on the 200 is different and the rib on
the hood and grill is gone. also the 200 has metal numbers and lettering instead of stickers

Both C & Super C serial tags are on RH side of tool box under the seat and both use the prefix FC. C has 5 digits and Super C has 6 digits. 200`s & 230`s have the serial tags on the LH side of the clutch bell housing. I will say that after 60 years alot of things could have been replaced on these tractors as the grill and hood would fit SC, 200 & 230. Have seen quite a few 200`s or 230`s with SC grill or hood. You gotta almost find multiple clues to nail some of the identities down. Lots of good info on these posts.
