Is anyone out there familiar with this problem?
Just wondering how often this happens?
I have 504 w/ TA lever removed and thinking I should pull (I assume "Top Cover") to inspect assembly?
Barnyardengineering sees this lever off tractors w/ bad TAs.
Would it help any to put a washer behind cotter pins to keep it from being sheered or worn in two by lever movement.
It looks like to me, none of the cotters have any sort of washer behind them to help protect pin from being worn.
OR are the pins installed to keep the slack of pin pushed to the trailing side by engine rotation direction while turning, keeping pressure off cotter pin, thus possibly wearing/cutting it less?
:?: What model His share same TA as 504 w/ Diesel D188? :?:
