986 3pt. Torsion shaft

The torsion shaft is leaking on the 986 3pt.how big of job to install new seals?thanks DTK.

If I remember right the one side you can just pull the hook holding the arm on out and replace the o-ring. The other side requires the shaft pulled out and is a bit more involved. I think the left side is the outside replacement one.

It"s just a few orings 2 on left one on right. Need to remove top link bracket and pto unit to access the draft linkage to remove the complete shaft out the right side. Not real hard but the pto unit is heavy. Take note of the draft linkage as you take it apart it"s easy to get the one lever on the wrong side of the other lever.
