Does anyone have the serial number breakdown by year for the McCormick 125SPVC combines that were made from 1951-1952 and total numbers manufactured?

No numbers, but we ran a 125SP (I do not know what the V in your number stands for) It was a complex, dirty, workhorse. We were the big combine, and custom harvested for 2 miles around the farm. (big time for sure) It had a precleaner on the tank elevator and threshed well. Adjusting the cylinder was a pain, and keeping it lubed with all the link chain and roller chain was not efficient. By 1960 it was pretty well worn out in multiple places. IIRC there were 80 grease fittings. Jim

Thanks for the info...I found a 125SPVC with a serial number in the 14,000s. The owners manual says the main difference between the 125 SPV and SPVC is the latter has a continuous auger on the header rather than 2 individual augers. Maybe the C stands for continuous. Not sure what the V stands for...the sales brochures seems to reference V-belts alot
