340 Hydraulic linkage for 3 point

My understanding is that the 3 point lever is supposed to go to a neutral position after full travel. Parts of my linkage are missing and I need pictures or linkage to fix this if possible. Any help will be appreciated. :?:

I could be wrong, but the lever is moved to neutral by the pressure reached at the end of travel, not linkage. on a
350U the hitch cylinder has a valve in the ram end that stops flow when an adjustable collar pushes a pin downward.

You probably are correct I just wasn't sure what made it work. My linkage is really rusty and sticking so that may be my trouble. Thanks :)

If after lubing up the linkage, it still fails to stay in the up or down lever position till it reaches its limits there could be a broken detent ball/spring in the valve. Jim

If this is the lever is close to the right of the seat similar to a 240 the lever is a quadrant position. You move the lever forward all the way the hitch should go down all the way and if moving the lever all the way back is should go all the way up, Any position in between it should go to the height and stop. 460, 560 should be the same if OEM. If it is the levers up by the right hand side of the tractor above the brakes then the cylinder will go to when it goes on high pressure and stop releasing the lever.

I forgot to mention if you are adding this three point the valve assembly to the left in the middle of the tractor has a bunch of gears for the linkage to compensate on. Not cheap and prone to get out of synch.
