Super C pushing some snow

This is my second time out since acquiring this homemade snowplow. I am pleased with the pushing power, could use a cab though. It was sitting just at 0 degrees and my toes went numb after about an hour.

That's what I did today, was -20 this morning, -22 yesterday morning. Started it at about 1 this afternoon, didn't think she'd start but popped right off.

Wife bought me a heat houser for xmass about twenty years ago but I haven't used it in years, hasn't been this cold for twenty years.

Do you have points or EI? I just put EI on mine this year and can't believe how quick it fires.

For your feet put a couple fertilizer or seed sacks on that cast platform and it will help to insulate you from that cold iron. I do that on our steel platforms like 806, 856, or skytrak in winter.

(quoted from post at 03:27:06 01/28/19) Still 6 volt and points.
Thats awesome.

I was running 6 volts but wanted LED lights so I could see decent at night, so I converted to 12 volts.

In 86 I bought a C and used it for plowing snow. There were days when it worked wonderfully and ran great, but of course, there were other days too. I still have it,but I do not plow snow with it any more. On a good day it did as good a job as my 400.

Cold feet and hands common when pushing snow. Do a Google search on "The WARMING STORE", place caters to
year-round motorcycle riders, all kinds of electrically heated clothes, but look for 12 volt gloves and
socks. I suffered pushing snow with my Stage 2 Super H, sitting on top of a 12 V battery, got the
gloves couple years ago. They have 5 heat settings, #2 works best, keeps hands toasty warm, not sweaty
hot, #5 will probably burn your hands. I got the battery connector, the harness and heat selector, and
can run both gloves and socks. Harness goes around your neck, wires to each glove down your sleeves, and
down your pants legs to the socks. Have to plug-in/unplug to get on/off the seat, not as nice and
convenient as a cab but much cheaper and easier to get in/out low doorways.
