T20 manifold

Hello I was planning to use a replacement manifold off of a F20 on my T20 but I wonder if they are the same? Manifold that is on the T20 now is older
with the brass side draft carb. I am wanting to switch to a newer manifold so that I can use the K5 carburetor. T20 has had plenty of modifications and
no longer has a fuel pump. Throttle linkage on the T20 is on the carb side and the F20 is on the right side. Has anyone used one of the replacement
manifolds on a T20? Thanks, Mike

Wow, I'm not sure what you have going on there, but you are right, it is heavily modified. Attached is a picture of my T20 block with a replacement F20 manifold on it. I cut the dogleg bracket off that supports the throttle linkage on the F20 since that should not be needed on a T20. On a T20 the throttle linkage is bolted to the water elbow on the water pump. The throttle linkage should be attach to the back of the carb, not up to the front like that. Your current manifold looks like it may be off an IH 8-16? I don't even know if that is possible, throttle linkage from an early F-20 or Regular???
