1086 TA

I was using my 1086 today and shifted it to high TA and the shift lever came back to low, it will not stay in high when I release the lever. If I hold it in high it seems ok. Does anyone know what the problem could be and how to check it out. Thanks in advance.

you have a broken spring on the t.a. lever. take the cowling off that goes around the dash.spring holds the rollers in the detents. spring is part number104228c1 not to hard of a fix.
